The EdgeStar 18" Built-In Dishwasher (BIDW1802SS) can fit in smaller spaces while still having enough interior space to accommodate up to eight (8) place settings. At only 18 inches wide, using this unit to replace an older appliance, is a great option. The interior features two (2) pull out dish racks, a silverware basket and cup tray. The front of the unit has a digital push buttons that allows you to choose between the six (6) wash cycles: heavy, normal, ECO, glass, rapid, and rinse. Light indicators show which cycle of the wash the unit is in and a buzzer sounds when the wash cycle has come to an end. Features a leakage sensor that automatically shuts off water flow when a leak is detected to protect your home from water damage. Rinse aid compartment helps remove spots and prevent film build up, while helping to dry your dishes more quickly (rinse aid sold separately)

Cleared the blockage, and then it drained fine. But now the LED screen STILL displays a leakage error code, and there is no way to turn the power off or reset the error code. The EdgeStar website only shows one dishwasher they sell (I bought it on Amazon), which is a countertop portable dishwasher.
UPDATE: I uprated to 4 stars, because the washer is now re-set, and working fine. But not 5 stars, because 1) the manual did not state how to reset the error code (I had to cut the power to the washer for 15 hours!!), 2) the washer is a discontinued model which wasn't stated on the Amazon page, 3) their website is pretty skinny on support details, though a contact form complaint got an email reply from a support person, there is NO phone number OR email address for support 4) no manuals of any kind are provided on the Edgewater website (I found them all on the Amazon product page). If I had to do it over again, I think I'd pay a few more dollars and buy the equivalent Danby dishwasher, from an American company.
Still working great. Cleans my dishes great. The rinse aid dispenser really get those dishes to dry nicely without spots or residue. Really impressed with this thing.
My previous 18 inch Kenmore (manufactured by Maytag) still worked but was falling apart. The 18 inch dishwashers are generally a lot more expensive than the 24s. I should have open the box before and look at the appliance before the installer came. This one is not as wide or deep on the inside and you can't put larger items like spatulas in the silverware tray. The appliance holds less than half of what the old dishwasher did. It is designed more for an RV than for a home. It says 8 place settings but that must be for gnome-sized dishes.
Using it is easy and it looks great, but some dishwashers have come out dirty (even after cleaning garbage disposal and using normal/heavy settings). It is also mostly quiet except for when the rinse cycles.
Based on the capacity of this I wouldn't recommend it.
Value for money wise it seems decent, all under sized products are overpriced buy this was good compared to others of the same size range.
Do note, you need an installation kit for the hose & electrical cord (if you're not from the US, like me, this might not be obvious - in the UK it comes with it, I forgot most don't here... Although I prob just missed it in the description!).
