Great plant identification book for the northern North American climate. Most of the plants covered in the book also grow in the northern U.S. as well as Canada. Superb photographs and concise plant descriptions. Useful size to take into the field but also great as a home reference.

This book is pretty detailed and has nice color pictures for all the plants. It has a quick pictoral guide in the beginning to find a plant page fast. It dosnt go into great detail about how to harvest and prepare the all the food but it does talk about it some. Overall this book is a good quality survival bag edition.
