It's a great book if you are really interested in print design. It covers everything you need to know from layout to typography to photography. And has lots of great examples, interviews and exercises to reinforce its main points.
In spite of the title this book doesn't cover digital design very well and mostly as an afterthought. It's digital content is also a little too focused on designing for tablets at that. I feel as though it needs an extra chapter just on digital to be worth it.

This is a great read, with lots of examples from an industry point of view. Great images in kindle book and paperback.
