Great for a potato launcher! Don't know what a potato launcher is? - go to YOUTUBE and type it in. But don't get caught in city limits with one that you construct... the local fuzz probably will frown on it. Take your launcher out to the country or anywhere safe like that.

I made a carbide cannon and it produces the spark to fire it off. So far it's been firing every time, so I'm happy with it so far, now I need to wait and see just how many sparks I'll get before it quits working..

I think that this igniter is great, the only thing that I would change about it would be the fact that it didn't come with a mounting nut.
(great for spud guns)

Item works, but not as well as I had hoped. I have it on a two burner propane stove, it works well on one burner but not so good on two.
