Looks like it is going to be a fun game to play with my granddaughter. I emailed Educational Insights and let them know I did not get all the pieces to the game, They sent me an entirely new game within a week (I already opened it, all pieces included), That is Customer Service!Received product with clear plastic shrinkwrap, so I just wrapped it in Christmas paper. Presented it to my granddaughter on Christmas morning with her other gifts. When she chose this one to play with first imagine our disappointment when the only pieces it came with are the two bunnies and one farmer shown on the front of the package......missing 18 bunnies and 3 farmers and the dice :(Will contact customer service to see if I can get the missing parts or if I have to return it and try againI have learned my lesson, will always open and make sure everything is in the package before wrapping as a present

We love this game!!! My 3.5 year old and 5 year old ask to play this game every single day!! At first I was going to just play with my 5 year old when her younger sister is napping but my 3.5 year old wanted to play with us and understood how to play it right away! It’s a great game to practice colors and memorization skills. The instruction booklet clearly shows how to play and it is easy to follow. It is a very cute theme with the bunnies, carrot patch and farmers. Everything is very durable so I can see it last a long time. I also can see many different ways to play with it as my kids get older so I love that we can use it for many years to come. We highly recommend this game!

Bought this game for my grandson in Florida when he was about 4 yrs old. He loved this game, and we played it every time I visited over and over again until he was about 8 yrs. old. Pros: no batteries required; easy to learn; durable. Con: the die is very small and unique so be careful not to lose it.

Just bought it again as an Easter gift for my now 4 yr. old grandson. He's not ready to play by the rules, but his 2 1/2 yr. old sister matches the colors and loves to "pop" the bunnies out!

Our 2.5 year old granddaughter likes this game and it's easy for her to understand with supervision. The popping rabbits make it fun and entertaining. The only bad part is ours was missing the dice, so we made it up with one from another game. Our daughter in law ordered one for their house and it did have the dice in it.

My nephews love this game and the adults were all fascinated with it. Everybody gets a kick out of watching the bunnies hop out of the game. It is very simple to play and moves quickly so it holds their attention. i strongly recommend it for any child just learning how to play board games and learning to count. The youngest child playing it was 5, but it could easily be played by kids a little younger.

It's also fun for the older kids, because of the strategizing. This is something that the 5 year old started to pick up on after a while. The strategy is when you get to swap a bunny with another player. Since each player is trying to get one of every color, you want to take a color you need and if possible take your opponent's only bunny of that color. It was fun to watch even the youngest start to figure this out.

This is one of the first board games of any kind we bought for my kids. It's actually better quality than I was expecting. I was glad to see that the base, especially the top of the base, was one solid piece of plastic and not cardboard like some other games. Part of me wishes the bunnies were bigger, but I can see where making them larger would've made the game itself too large. Overall the materials and even the paint on the game pieces has held up well over about two months of use. (My daughter tends to play with the rabbits as individual toys so they've gotten more use than just being game pieces)

The way you play the game is you put the rabbits in the holes but you DO NOT press them down into the holes (I saw a few reviews saying all the rabbits jumped at the same time which is what happens when you press them all down). When it's your turn you roll the die and push a rabbit down based on the color you get, and then push down on the farmers head to make it jump (each farmer does the same thing. They all trigger all the holes). The pieces themselves determine whether or not the rabbit jumps. 1 out of 4 of each color doesn't jump. They just react like "duds" when you push down on the farmer. The object of the game is to be the first one to collect a rabbit of each color, but we also just play to see who can get the most rabbits or who can get all the rabbits of a given color.

The educational elements of this game are not as obvious as people think. The game marketers point out the color recognition aspects, but that's minor. For older kids there can be an element of strategy in trying to get all the correct colors (the die has a swap option, and choose any color). The bigger element is this is a lot like memory. If you push a dud rabbit down you have to remember where it is, which isn't easy because aside from the color ring near the waist of the rabbit they all look identical. The only option is to remember it's location on "the field" just like memory. If there were two changes I'd make to this game, one would be giving each rabbit their own unique expressions and characteristics. It would just make the game more fun to look at, and would give the memory aspect more depth. The second would be instead of 3 out of 4 rabbits being jumpers, I'd make it 2 out of 4 (although, considering the games target age demo I can see why they went with 3 out of 4).

Another memory aspect is sensory. There's a slight difference in what a jumping rabbit feels like compared to a dud, and you can feel it as soon as you start to press it down. A child who is a bit older should start to notice this difference, which gives an opportunity to practice delaying impulse control. Impulse control is by far the biggest educational element of this game. Turn taking, and not getting the color you want from the die build impulse control for younger children...but selecting a rabbit that doesn't jump is the biggest impulse control builder. That build up in anticipation is a big deal to younger kids. It's the draw of playing the game. My daughter gets excited every time a rabbit jumps and we've had this game for over a month. But she's visibly disappointed when the rabbit doesn't jump. Initially she just wanted to select a different rabbit to get the desired reward, but now she's learned she has to wait until her next turn...and you can see her process and get used to the emotions of delaying gratification. That's an incredibly important skill to develop. There isn't a skill more important for a human to develop than impulse control. It's the root of everything. Learning, behavior, emotion regulation, everything.

This is one of the betters games for impulse control I've ever come across for 2-5 year olds.

The media could not be loaded.
The game is great, but I got a defective set. All the yellow bunnies cannot jump, and finally I figured out that the problem is, the springs of yellow and black butt are all soft type. Unlike bunnies of other colors, colored butt should be hard spring instead of soft one, and the black butt should be soft one, so colored butt can jump, while black ones cannot. Kind of sad...because I figured out later than the last returned day...and it’s an international shipping, the return shipping should be expensive.

This adorable game has been a huge hit! We love playing it. It came just in time before huge storm and power outage happened & was the perfect fun distraction for our family. My 2 yr old daughter loves to grab these adorable bunnies. I don’t have to worry about them because they’re very good quality & so durable. My 10 yr old even likes playing it. Also, teenagers enjoyed playing it with us. After a few game rounds, they made up a game to see who could put the most bunnies in quick enough and then push farmer to see them hop up all at same time. My 7 yr old nephew was too eager to make them hop right before last bunny was placed. So much fun for all of us! I would definitely recommend it for families!

Had a blast playing this game with the grands! We all had fun...from 6 to 66! Very easy to play/learn. Follow instructions (plainly says do not push the bunnies all the way down). Six yr old tried to jam them in & didn't break any! They pop out great; the older kids were catching them in mid air. Best of all...NO BATTERIES REQUIRED! Yay!!!!

Kids 1, 2 and 3 yrs all love this game. Great fun when they push all bunnies into holes and take turns popping up the bunnies.
There is a great game with rules you can use but we haven’t got to that yet because the kids just love taking turns putting the bunnies in their specific coloured holes and pushing a farmer to make the bunnies jump up high.
Great for colour matching. Finger strength and coordination.
I think it is over priced but saying that I bought it because I had to have it. It’s a great fun game for littles.
