I bought this book because it was required for the course I am attending. It is very clear and rich of practical tips for class. I like the structure and the content (not exhaustive but sufficient for a Teach Cred Progr). I bought it used, in decent conditions. It gets 4 stars because it did not include the "My Lab" online thing...which completes it.

I recieved my product in good shape and in a timely manner. However, I believed my order would include the access code for myeducationlab that I assumed was included in this new book purchase. I recieved my book, but no access code. I found out that the book that included the lab was a different order and I believe this was not at all clear from the order page. Beware when ordering textbooks! Now I have to scramble to either reorder or find a way to purchase the access code. I'm not satisfied.

Like other reviewers on here, I was extremely irritated to find out that this brand NEW copy of Educational Psychology (sent directly from Amazon) did NOT include an access code for MyEducationLab. Talk about false advertising! This book is listed as (MyEducationLab Series) so any normal person would assume that the access code would be included. I emailed/called to complain, and Amazon FINALLY updated their listing to say "This is just the standalone book, if you want the book/access code you need to order: 0131381105 / 9780131381100."

I, too, was disappointed to find that my "new" book listed as the "Education Lab Series" didn't include the code to access the lab online. This appears to be an intentional misrepresentation as there are others (I see now) who are having the same problem. This is unfortunate. I have always trusted Amazon to be accurate and fair. This, truly, is not the moral "right thing" to do. Disappointed.

LAME! There is no code or anything for the My education lab. Book itself isn't horrible. Though I wish instructors would follow the direction of the book I didn't really find much use for the book overall.

I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of this "USED" book. One could see the amount of use on the other books that I purchased second-hand - this was "as good as new". It arrived within 2 days. I need it for my course and I absolutely love the way the book has case studies in the beginning of every chapter and how the author keeps going back to the case study over the course of the chapter. One can see the connection of the material to everyday life in a classroom.

The book is in great condition despite being used. Expediting shipping got me the book in record time to catch up on my reading for class. The only hitch was the the packaging was stuck to the book, but it took less than 5 mins to remove it... Overall I'm super satisfied!
