I purchased this to use in my classroom for spinning micro centrifuge tubes. The centrifuge vibrates incredibly when it is turned on, and makes a very loud noise during operation. It is not stable on a tabletop, and I would not recommend this for work in a laboratory situation, as it does this even when it is pulse spinning. Better to buy a better piece of equipment and save your money!!!!
