The main character, Nikki, lost her parents to what she believed was suicide and an uncle, who terrorized her from an early age, was found murdered. Since Nikki was the only living relative, she returned to the town at the request of the police to ID him. Along comes Joe, an old flame, now a police detective. Although not assigned to this particular case he ends up helping the one involved, Detective Stiles, but not before more murders happen, indicating a serial killer is at work.
Follow the clues closely and you may figure it out before the last page or, like me, fail to do so. For those who love a suspenseful murder mystery with a little romance thrown in, this is one for you. Enjoy the read, I certainly did.
I notice some good tight plotting and description so I am sure some crime or thriller fans will love the book more than I did. I think the title is a bit awkward for typing into a search box, with possible variations on the spelling, which may hamper sales.
us right into the story and making us feel all the raw emotions that her characters feel. You
want the bad guys to pay and the good guys to win and Thank You Sandra, that usually happens.
