My daughter's 3rd grade class used this book for their Egypt unit (they're now using the Greek title in the same series, and I believe will use the Rome title before the year is out as well).

It's well organized, clearly doesn't have the ability to go into huge detail, but it's enough she's walked away with a strong base understanding of what Ancient Egypt was about.

I look forward to both the Greek & Rome versions!
