This volume purports to be a history of the Jews, showing all the marvelous things they accomplished. I have read enough about the history, archeology etc. of my people to recognize that this is mostly a book of fiction. If you do a Google, you will note the absence of any serious reviews of this book.

Just to be transparent- I bought this based on reviews and gave as a gift to my Jewish friend who I know is a huge history buff. He has raved about this book, and has said he has learned some wonderful things he did not know (and he is 70+ years old, a mature fan of history.)

This is one of the most interesting history books I've ever read.
Read it several years ago, but lost my copy by loaning it out
and not receiving it back. Plan to read it again.
