Either Way: Story of a Gay Kid Kindle Edition
Sorry, there was a problem loading this page. Try again.
A graphic novel that teaches teens about the history of gay rights in America while emphasizing the recurring theme that “It’s okay to be gay. Or not. Either way, it’s okay.”
From day one I knew there was something different about me. Cael sets out to find out who he is — something he wants to know more than anything. With the help of a trusted teacher, a new friend, and his favorite book, he discovers what he knew all along.
Inside you'll find three stories braided into one: a coming-of-age coming out story, a lesson on civil rights and marriage equality, and historical fiction about a gay man in the military. And you'll read about how Cael comes out as gay, comfortable with who he is and confident that it's okay.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2022This a great read for a kid, young adult, teen, and adult. It reads like a comic book but more like a graphic novel. I really enjoyed it and would of loved to have it as a kid. It will help a kid come out. It would of helped me. Sandra is also a wonderful person and I am proud to have her as an ally and a friend. Thank you Sandra.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2019This book is just plain bad! The author is a Christian, but is so aggressive and calls people out on their imperfections!
