Overflowing with depression and rage, the depth of his hatred and the way he expresses it while writing in his journal feels almost like an intense heat radiating up from the pages to burn you. I went back and forth, feeling pity for him then being shocked by his thought processes and outbursts through the entire story.
This should be required reading for young teens so they can see the potential effects of bullying and mental illness, to have a chance to possibly help stop a tragedy before it happens. I would recommend this book to anyone so they can see the possible future outcome of some bad behavioral choices.
