So after having this dehydrator for awhile, I've noticed a few things:
1. It doesn't circulate air evenly. The right side of the dehydrator gets the majority of the heat, but ONLY the first 3 trays. Anything below that gets subpar, or even very low heat. I've lost SEVERAL dehydrated vegetables because it took this dehydrator too long to dehydrate them. My first ever attempt, some zucchini chips, I lost about half of my zucchini because it took my 3 days to dehydrate it while constantly moving the trays around, trying to get them into better places to heat up, and I had to throw out half of them because they got moldy before they could dehydrate. A waste of money and what would have been perfectly good zucchini.
2. I finally got enough fruit to make fruit leather, so I tried the fruit trays just to see how the fruit leather would do. It only came with three trays, which was very disappointing because 4 trays could have filled up the dehydrator. So instead I had to throw in some blueberries and pitted cherries on the mesh screens (so they wouldn't fall through the massive spaces on the racks) just to fill up the dehydrator. I set it for 16 hours on low heat just because I knew that it would take a long time dehydrate everything since, as I said, it does not circulate air throughout the dehydrator, which results in horribly uneven dehydrating. I did NOT realize the extent of it until I took my fruit leather out of the dehydrator this morning. On the top tray, the fruit leather on the right side was OVER dehydrated, top the point where it was burnt onto the tray. That's where the tray melted. So I had to cut off and discard 1/4 of my fruit leather. The rest of the top try was ok, so I cut it into strips, rolled it between some ziplock bag strips, and put it away. I should have been able to get 5 fruit leathers with this batch, but I only got 4. The second tray was only halfway cooked. The right side was cooked perfectly, but the entire left side was still fruit puree and slightly cool to touch. I took these out of the dehydrator 2 minutes after it went off--it shouldn't have been that cold after being in 165 degrees for 16 hours.
3. The third tray and the two racks of fruit, which were closer to the bottom of the dehydrator, weren't coooked at all. The fruit was dry, but cool to touch and the try of fruit leather was completely cold and the entire tray was still wet puree.
I spent over $100 for a dehydrator that barely even works and for trays that were built for the heat of the dehydrator, but melt too close to the light. The entire construction makes no sense. I'm very disappointed with my dehydrator and I'm going to see if I can get a refund. I searched high and low for a good dehydrator and this had a lot of good reviews, so I was hoping that it would be worth the money and it was just a waste of money. I heavily can and dehydrate over the summer because I garden so I needed a work horse. I had a good dehydrator that circulated air and always got things dehydrated completely the first time, but the trays were made of brittle plastic and my kids were always playing with it without permission and eventually broke them, which is why I was looking for a new one to begin with. This was NOT the right dehydrator to spend my money on and I strongly suggest that no one else spend their money on it either. Huge disappointment. I do NOT recommend it.

The reasons I went with this dehydrator, primarily, were:
1) It heats up to 172°F.
2) It comes with fruit leather trays, mats for smaller food pieces, and silicone oven mitts.
I really love that I didn't have to go find and buy anything else to make fruit rolls and pineapple pieces (they shrink A LOT with the water gone) on my first go.
Overall, I'd recommend this dehydrator. It does a good job and has plenty of options for temperature and time.
