A political thriller that feels so real, you’ll think it’s already happened.

With scenes ripped from today’s most viral blogs,
The Election Heist plays to the suspicions of millions of Americans who believe Russia hacked the 2016 elections, and millions more who fear that nefarious players could manipulate the results in the 2020 race. Packed with complex and believable characters, rapid-fire dialogue, and chilling details about the very real vulnerabilities of our election infrastructure, The Election Heist is written by investigative reporter, bestselling author, and former congressional candidate Kenneth R. Timmerman.

“Ken Timmerman has written another page-turner, with all the suspense of election drama, voter recounts, and political high-stakes poker the way the game is played in today’s super-charged political reality. If you enjoy the scheming of talented but devious political operatives, media personalities angling to make their careers on a ‘gotcha’ moment, and the winner-take-all gambles today’s candidates for political office must take, this is a book you can’t afford to miss.”
—Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D., bestselling author of The Obama Nation, Unfit For Command, and many others

“In 2020, governments still do not take the threat of a major election security breach seriously. Ken Timmerman gets it! His scenario in this book is all too plausible, which means the realities are chilling… A good and timely read.”
—Tom Malatesta, nationally recognized cyber security expert

“If you don’t think election security is important, think again. Ken Timmerman’s new book shows why all of us should be worried about the 2020 election.”
—Stephen Moore, economic advisor to President Trump and Heritage Foundation senior fellow

“Only someone who has been in the political warfare trenches like Ken Timmerman could write such a timely, political thriller ‘work of fiction’ like this.”
—Hon. Joseph E. Schmitz, former Inspector General of the Department of Defense and member of the Trump for President National Security and Foreign Policy Advisory Board

Review

"In his new political thriller, The Election Heist, novelist Ken Timmerman has written another page-turner, with all the suspense of election drama, voter recounts, and political high-stakes poker the way the game is played in today's super-charged political reality. Corsi, Ph.D., bestselling author of "The Obama Nation," "Unfit For Command," and many others

The Election Heist was a real eye opener." -- Rep. John Rutherford (FL-4)

Schmitz, former Inspector General of the Department of Defense and author, "The Inspector General Handbook: Fraud, Waste, Abuse, and Other Constitutional 'Enemies, Foreign and Domestic'"

"A political thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat unable to put it down." -- Lady Brigitte Gabriel, bestselling author, founder and chairman, ACT for America

My first Middle East reporting trip took me to Beirut in July 1982, and I've been going back ever since. I've lived in Egypt and Lebanon, have worked with freedom fighters in Iran and Iraq, and been held hostage by Muslim terrorists in a war zone. You can read all about it in And the Rest Is History.

My latest book, The Iran House, tells the unusual story of how a reporter came to help the intelligence services of his country in fighting Iranian terrorism. In other words, how I became an agent-runner and a spy. You'll also get a front-row seat to reporting trips around the world, including Talinn, Estonia, where I investigate the Russian mafiya, Gaza, Beirut, Cairo, Kuwait, Peshawar, Libya, Israel, Iraq, Israel, and more. I also reveal my role in the on-again, off-again Israeli efforts to help the Iranian opposition.

My earlier book, Raising Olives in Provence, was a change of pace, a laugh-out-loud account of the south of France from someone who has gotten to know the region and its people intimately over the past twenty years. And if you really want a change of pace, check out my fiction: The Election Heist, about a fictional election in 2020, and ISIS Begins, about the persecution of Christians in Iraq.

Ken Timmerman is a prolific writer and exceptional wordsmith. The Election Heist has a momentum that never lets up. It encompasses a range of reactions: laugh-out loud funny, clever, quick-witted, insightful, unpredictable, and altogether plausible. As someone who observed Ken on the campaign trail, I can attest to his energy, love of country, affable nature and dedication to election integrity. His newest book is particularly timely during this hotly contested presidential election season. In fact, it's a political thriller! Thoroughly enjoyable and a quick read.

Of all the Ken Timmerman books I have read, which are all extremely well researched and well-written, "The Election Heist" is the most riveting of all...it's almost scary how a fiction book can be so spot on with what is happening right now. I know Timmerman is a top notch investigative journalist, but how did he know all this ahead of time? Read it right away. Don't wait another day....it's that important!

The most important thing about reading a book like this is , did it make you think.
Because without looking at all aspects you can be blind sided.
great job

Timmerman’s latest novel pits fictional Democratic Governor of Illinois Ms. Cheryl Tomlinson against real life Donald Trump and involves operatives of the Democratic National Campaign Committee backing hackers violating electoral security breaking into electronic voting systems in Maryland, Florida, and beyond. It is a fast-paced depiction of the insecurities of electoral electronic and paper balloting systems currently in use throughout the US. The scenario begins with the race in the Maryland 8th CD pitting the incumbent Democrat Rep. Hugh McKenzie against Republican first time candidate, Nelson Aguilar a Hispanic media mogul. There is an Israel-related episode at a press conference in Wheaton, Maryland in the 8th CD when Aguilar, the GOP contender backed by a local Mariachi band attired in red shirts, disrupts a presser by Democrat incumbent McKenzie. Aguilar cannily reveals that he was a reporter in Sderot, Israel during the rocket war in 2008-2009 of Operation Cast Lead. This contrasts with McKenzie’s signing onto a letter condemning Israel for alleged war crimes. There are other moments including Antifa thugs staging a protest in front of Trump Towers that results in the killing of two NYPD officers. Suffice to say, The Election Heist is a techno political thriller that appears to be art preceding possible realities in the coming Trump - Biden matchup

Not wanting to write a spoiler.
Very informative on the operations/mechanics of currently used voting machines.
Describes how recounts should be handled.
Written as a novel but could very well contain the truth.
Makes you think and ask questions.
Easy to read. Liked the way the short chapters were written. A plus was a list of characters. which helped me keep track of them in the story.
This could easily be a film.

I am NOT a whodunnit/mystery type reader, but this book kept my interest and made it hard to put it down! Almost like it was "ripped from the headlines". GREAT BOOK -- worth every penny.

I completely digested this compelling work of fiction with its Tom Clancy-like feeling of absolute reality. In retrospect, I truly wish it was not so readable, compelling, and certainly, not so credible. Unfortunately, it is all three and every concerned, proactive American MUST read Election Heist immediately. It represents a fictionalized version of a very accurate geopolitical (and existential) threat assessment by a brilliant mind with the incisive skills of a trained intelligence analyst. Get this essential work by a gifted harbinger of what most probably lies directly ahead. Read it immediately, if you care about America, integrity in the political system...and even national survival.
