This is probably an "ok" product, but no where in the product description did it say... and these are the EXACT words from a warning label on the product..
"For a long period of time (more than 24 hours) no one or no use please close the water supply and disconnect the power supply otherwise the consequence will be at your own expense"
Really? Your customers might want to know that up front!

Unable to connect water lines

This water heater may work well, but connecting it to the water lines has been impossible. The red plastic top of the hot water outlet sticks up so far that the threads on this outlet can't connect with threads on the braided faucet connector. I tried several standard connectors, including the one supplied with the water heater. None would connect. I plan to email the manufacturer for help but may need to return the unit.
October 2021 revision: The company replied to my email, and after following their suggestions (in very limited English!) I was able to connect everything. It has worked flawlessly for the past 10 months, and I would now recommend it.

cheap with quality/reliability concern

I bought one because it is the only horizontal designed mini-tank water heater on market with height less than 12" required by my RV conversion project. However, I decided to return it right after I opened the package. Beside the carton box, every thing within it are looked cheap and low quality build by flimsy material. The total weight of the heater is only 7.5 pound comparing to the Bosch ES2.5's 15.5bl. I can imagine how thin the stainless steel tank wall is. It feels like a balloon when I holding it. It may work for some applications, such as in a garage or a bathroom with water drain on the floor, but not my project - unattended leakage or broken tank will destroy my van.

Non standard male tank connectors

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Both the cold and hot are incompatible with 1/2" FIP hoses because of an inner 3/8" pipe within the 1/2" pipe is flush with 1/2" pipe (see picture). This isn't a problem for the cold water side as a pressure relief valve fixes the problem, but on the hot water side, you cannot attach the hose provided to the tank. The included T connector can be attached, but, you need a 1/2" FPT cap to seal the extra MIP connector. And, in case you are wondering, the plastic cap that protected the connector isn't a water tight solution . :-(

Leaks from connector

Well, first off the parts that come with it did not work with my setup. Three trips to big box hardware store and a plumbing supply store I got it connected. Had a slow leak that I thought I stopped. Had used Teflon tape, did it twice, thought I was good till a few days later, definitely leaking, another trip to the store to get pipe dope, still leaking. Sending back.... Trying another brand. It was so nice to actually have hot water at my kitchen sink, but this just didn't work.

Overall I would say I am pleased with the performance of this product. installation was a PITA, because of my need to install a receptacle underneath my sink.
Both the input and output connections required that I purchase replacement hoses, partly because of distance, but also partly because nothing would connect properly to the hot water output connection.
I had to install two different adapters to be able to connect to the hot water output. I also used Teflon tape to ensure a leak proof connection. See photo.

Is this heater working?

I wonder what is going on with this unit. It is being fed with 120 degree water from my 40 gallon hot water heater. When the green settling light comes on it reads 140 degrees. When the red heating light comes on the reading on the display is 130 degrees. When I draw 20 seconds of water in a glass, after no water drawn for 8 hours WHY does my infrared temp meter read 105 degrees. So this unit is changing 120 degree water to 105 degree water by heating water to a display of 139 degrees.
