Product Description

Currently Impacting Radio Album cover JAK PARIS’s debut CD, “Electric Revolution” featuring the single ”N.B.D. (Not Back Down)” and “Lead The Way” concentrates on high-level musical virtuosity, performance, and energy driven songs. The song’s, from harder and heavier takes to more melodic ballads, reflect each of JP’s diverse musical influences and backgrounds. The result is a blend of pop and modern rock, ignited by clever lyrics. Its obvious that JP has his influences and is capable of turning in radio rock hits as catchy as anything from Lifehouse, Dashboard Confessional, Oasis or Fuel, but it is only when he starts out tight with passion, lets the song build and then lets loose, that you feel the full power, lyricism, and the sound of JAK PARIS. JP brings a lot of energy to this album and shows a vast array of influences without displaying any of them too overtly. It’s clear that JP wants to avoid being categorized, and does it successfully. To put it simply, Electric Revolution is a great Rock album that is finding its way into heavy rotation.

It is very difficult to review something of this vintage...but a century after Sarah Bernhardt was "put in Pickle for all time" it should probably every cinema lovers duty to see this at least once....(most will NOT want to watch it twice).

Very primitive...and of course performed as if the silent camera were a member of the audience of a regular stage production (all action is explained by titles before it is shown...)...

Since it is impossible to hear the dialogue (or read the lips...since the camera was pretty far back from the action) it is virtually impossible to rate the stumping of the rather matronly star and her supporting cast...suffice to say her grand gestures probably played much better if one were seated even further back in the stalls...and had the benefit of hearing her voice......

In any case this is ENORMOUSLY important as the first high class blockbuster...and the first hints that flickers might someday be accepted as an art...

This movie is pretty crummy - there isn't really anything interesting about the film itself. I guess you might want to watch it as an important film historically (as I did), but it really isn't entertaining in any way.

It is hard to rate this film , I happily ordered it because Sarah Bernhardt was in it and she is related to me through
a long line of ancestors and I buy anything that relates to her; therefore it makes my rating of it meaningless to others.

Tips to others: If she weren't related to me frankly, I would not have bought it.
