I bought two of these and have 2 razors (e100 and 175, same thing basically). My kids ran their scooters about half dead. We plugged these chargers in, and the light was GREEN indicating fully charged. Interesting, frustrating, and suspicious. So I busted out my tools and dug in...
This charger outputs about 27v. The OEM Razor charger outputs about 29v (maybe more). This is CRITICAL. This 24v system requires at least 29v to properly, FULLY charge.
This charger might charge a _dead_ battery to about HALF capacity, but no further. It cannot charge to the batteries FULL capacity. Cant, wont, never will. Those of you who are using this charger and giving it rave reviews are being cheated out of the full use of your batteries and dont even realize it.
Razor 24v scooters have two 12v batteries in series. Remember that a 12v battery with a full charge sits around 13.5v, sometimes more. That means that at FULL charge, a razor should sit at about 27v or more. Now, in order to charge a battery, the charger must output MORE voltage than the battery itself. See the problem already? This charger simply does not output that much. Your car alternator (charger), for example, outputs about 14.5v to charge your 12v battery to 13.5v. x2 for your 24v Razor, that would mean you have a 29v output on your charger, to charge your 24v system to 27v. But, oops, this charger doesnt output 29v, only the OEM Razor one does. As mentioned, this CC2420 charger only outputs 27v and this is INSUFFICIENT to charge the batteries to full.Read more ›
They are not adjustable and if you manage to get them adjusted they will not stay in the position you put them in.
They are not safe to have or put on a bike so don't even think about buying them!

Lost my son's Razor E175 charger somehow in a move. This charger worked just perfect, and much less than the Razor branded one.Published 27 days ago by Richie_Rich_#1
