"Both broken, neither thinking they deserve anything good, anything to last .... until they found each other. The most romantic erotica I've read it a while, loved it, and a brilliant debut by the author." - GoodReads Reader/Reviewer
About the Author
Rachel Blaufeld is a social worker/entrepreneur/blogger turned author. Fearless about sharing her opinion, Rachel captured the ear of stay-at-home and working moms on her blog, BacknGrooveMom, chronicling her adventures in parenting tweens and inventing a product, often at the same time. She has also blogged for The Huffington Post, Modern Mom, and StartupNation. Turning her focus on her sometimes wild-and-crazy creative side, it only took Rachel two decades to do exactly what she wanted to do—write a fiction novel. Now she spends way too many hours in local coffee shops plotting her ideas. Her tales may all come with a side of angst and naughtiness, but end lusciously. Rachel lives around the corner from her childhood home in Pennsylvania with her family and two dogs. Her obsessions include running, coffee, icing-filled doughnuts, antiheroes, and mighty fine epilogues.

Really wish it had lived up to the blurb.
Carson is ex FBI in Vegas to blow off steam because of a case of missing person that he is working on. He stops at the
Electric Tunnel and is captivated by Sienna Flower. He can't get those blue eyes or body out of his mind.
Sienna is very careful at the club and has been noticing this guy there alot and he never smiles and is only there for her shows and then he leaves. She's curious and goes out to the floor to mingle.
Carson wants to meet her and have coffee which they do and sparks start to fly. They both want each other but Sienna is afraid of her past and trusting people.
More than anything Carson wants her and to try and tear the walls down for her,to protect her.
I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately so I will admit I didn't get into Electrified right away but when I did I couldn't put it down. The fabulous characters and storyline had me hooked.
Rachel Blaufeld did a brilliant job in creating and developing her characters, Sienna/Lilach was such a complex character and I felt that Ms. Blaufeld was able to articulate who she was perfectly. Carson was dark and mysterious and I loved getting to know him - YUM! One character I felt short-changed on because I wanted to know him better, was Asher. I am thrilled that Asher's story is headed our way this fall...EEEEEEEEP!
Electrified was angsty but not to the point where I was left feeling hungover. I felt so much for Sienna and what she had been through. The chemistry between the characters is just that - Electrified. There are some beautiful hot sexy moments in this read! Sexy but not dirty. But, just when I thought the story was headed down a predictable road, Ms. Blaufeld through in a fab twist that I would never have seen coming. Kudos!
If you are looking for a for a unique story that will have you wanting more... With fab characters, smokin' hot sexy goodness and a little suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat... Electrified by Rachel Blaufeld is what you are looking for.
Sienna Flower (Lilach) was a wonderful and strong woman. She was couageous enough to leave an abusive husband, her family and the only life she's ever known behind in order to find safety and happiness. She ends up as a stripper in Vegas and is surrounded by good people who become her family - they love her more than her family ever had.
Carson is ex-FBI and gorgeous. He goes to the Electric Tunnel to see her perform and can't stop thinking about her. When they finally meet the attraction and pull they have for one another, makes you want to jump in the pages and push them together.
Rachel Blaufeld did a wonderful job. The book flows well, you cheer for the characters (even the secondary ones) and the twist in this book is fantastic! I thought I had it figured out, but I didn't....I love when that happens!!! Kudos to the author! I would defintitley recommend this book. 4.5 stars!
Sienna and Carson's connection is undeniable and their chemistry is pretty explosive. If your looking for hot and sensual then Carson is your man! GAH! I absolutely loved his sexy and dominant side. Carson is protective and instinctive and knows that Sienna is hiding something... When he goes digging for her truths he finds more then he was bargaining for. And this is when the story goes from ok to FANTASTIC! Once all the secrets are revealed and the story takes off like a rocket I was flipping pages and couldn't read fast enough to see what was going to happen next... The result, well I was shocked to find out the real truth behind her past, and heck even Sienna didn't know the whole truth about it. Rachel did a really good job hiding it, and weaving the intricate story line at the end of this book... Even when I thought I knew what was going to happen it ended up being just the opposite of what I thought... I was pleasantly surprised and that doesn't happen very often for me...
So in honesty the first half of this book for me was between a 2-3 star read. It was a little repetitive and drug on just slightly. However the 2nd half of this book exploded with intense intrigue and danger, that I wasn't truly prepared for... Over all making this for me a 4 star read... I implore you to read through the entire book the ending is well worth the wait!!!
