Top customer reviews
Yes it was fine in the beginning but as soon as it was off its warranty, it died. The induction top stopped working and the cost for fixing it is OVER 1000$ DOLLARS!
Electrolux does not stand by its product and would not help us out. It is obviously a manufacturers problem/defect as I have read that MANY HAVE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM.
Save yourself lots of grief and DO NOT BUY THIS.
Notice that the reviews that are positive are all written right within the few first months of purchase. Yes it was great at the beginning but THIS WILL NOT LAST!
This oven is a piece of junk and Electrolux only answer is to buy their over priced "insurance". They make inferior products knowing they will break in order to make even more from the extended warranty gimmick. The first one was under warranty and replaced. The replacement has been a constant repair problem and it now is out of warranty and Electrolux doesn't care. After hours of conversation with them their basic response was 20% Off of parts. This is after we have spent well over a $1000.00 in repairs. It is again broken, and as we have been reluctant for another repair call knowing we are looking at another bill of $800.00 or more. It continues to break down even more. It is now completely useless except for a few hours using the cooktop, then that too shuts down. It is only a matter of time before the whole piece of junk completely breaks down. This company and its products are garbage.
We bought 4 pieces, three had to be replaced. We had to buy another dishwasher for another $1100.00 because that broke and after many repairs we gave up and forked out for another one. Now the replaced microwave, for the third time, and another small fortune in repairs, is on the blink. Of course it is out of warranty.
I had been eye balling a Samsung slide-in that would have looked beautiful in my kitchen but for a few hundred more, this range trumped that one with induction.
The range in simple and easy to work. Water does boil very, very quickly on the Power Boil setting. Cleaning up is easy as everything is flat and there are no knobs.
I have had no issues with this range. In fact, I love it but I cannot give it 5 stars because I don't like the amount of heat it loses if you open the oven. I'm not sure how much it loses compared to others but it was enough for me to notice when I was cooking a casserole.
