I was hesitant about playing a WWI game but I've enjoyed this game so far. They waited too long to release more MP content but I'm happy with it now that it's here. The single player campaign was good but the MP is where it's at. Lots of "holy crap!!" Moments when playing.
Better with friends but most MP games are.
Graphics are good and gameplay is good.
If you're a fan of Battlefield games then don't hesitate to try this one.

Great Game with a Few Annoyances

I've had this game for about 3 months now and love it. I was a huge COD fan but their futuristic war games are incredibly annoying, so I took a chance on Battlefield 1 and it has been a nice change as it's a more realistic shooting game without retards bouncing off walls, jetpacking, spraying and praying, etc. There are a few annoying things coming from the COD series like: You cant modify your classes outside of a game, the load times are horrendous, the battlepacks are insanely retarded as they are only skins for guns which are worthless, etc. Besides these few annoyances, this game is great. I will definitely be sticking to the Battlefield series unless the COD series gets their head out of the sand.

Overall the gameplay is amazing. The single player campaign can feel real at times. The replay value is great for me. I've already played it 3 times. The multiplayer is great. It offers so many different options for players of different gaming styles. It may take some getting used to for the weapons, but once you find your style and the weapon that fits it, you'll have a blast.

The issues I have with the game are the same with every Battlefield game. They make playing with friends more complicated than it should be. The squad system is flawed. I'll invite people and someone else will drop out of the squad randomly or they just won't get the invite. I'll try to join a game of someone in my squad and occasionally I'll end up in a completely different server; other times it'll just fail to join.

If they would improve upon the squad system and work out the bugs it would be so much better. If there can be anything learned from the call of duty series is the lobby system it uses. It makes it much easier and streamlined.

Overall I definitely recommend this game.

The goal of this review is to be short and helpful.

Battlefield 1 is the latest installment in the Battlefield FPS series, and decided to take an unconventional route and go to World War I. The quality of the game is very good. It runs very smoothly on my Xbox One and definitely has the best graphics to date for the series. The frame rate is fluid, and the gun mechanic are solid. For fans of the series, you will feel mostly at home. To history buffs, the game might irk you a little bit with the SMGs and A7V tanks kin the Ottoman desert. The campaign is very good albeit short. I recommend this title if you enjoy FPS games and/or like history. Operations mode is made for history buffs like me. The only major downside is it feels more like a World War II game with a World War I skin.

This would be a 5 star game if the campagin was longer. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are good, and the stories are decent, but i beat the campagin in one day, and since i don't have Xbox Live, i was stuck with game which i had already beaten. Now, if you have xbox live, this game is really fun and is worth it.

This game has so many epic multiplayer battles that are as close to war as I have ever seen in a video game. There is so much happening on the battlefield and it's so intense that you have to step back and catch your breath from time to time. A really good single player campaign sets the tone for the real star of the show which is the awesome multiplayer. A must play for shooter fans.

Excellent game! Battlefield returns to it's foundation of intense, unique and creative game play. The single player game play is incredible, however it is too short, I'm assuming they'll be releasing more levels in updates. The multiplayer is fairly balanced and seems to be that a battle can change at a moments notice, as there doesn't seem to be one dominating vehicle/weapon over others. Def. recommend this game

Hard to believe how low quality the game is. So many glitches, just ridiculous. Enemy can walk trough closed doors, you keep being stuck amongst some boxes, cannot hit the target at point-blank range and many more. Not to mention how simple and unsophisticated the single player story line is. Bad job. Unthinkable.
