This app is an adequate port of the boardgame. There isn't much to learn in the way of controls, which is nice when trying to play this with smaller children. The graphics are colorful and cartoony. The overall gameplay kept me and my children engaged, but there are a few annoyances worth mentioning.
First, there are only 4 player avatars to choose from - two male, two female. Second, players are not given an option of when to play Share the Wealth cards when playing against other human players (in a single player game, you have the option of choosing when to play these cards, giving the player the ability to wait for the most advantageous situation). Third there is no tooltip or in-game warning to advise you to select your lucky number; it was only after I was halfway through my first game and saw computer players collecting their investments that I realized I was missing this, but even after this realization, I wasn't sure where to go to get my number.
These annoyances are enough to take away a star but not enough for me to say that this isn't a worthy purchase for parents looking for a family night activity or road trip version of the boardgame.
