Works great and fits nicely on camera and lenses. I used this with two different canon EF lenses on my EOS R. Auto focus works fast. Image stabilization is good. I don’t have the canon brand so I can’t compare it in terms of quality but it seems like a good alternative if you’re looking to save money.
