I was really surpised how poorly constructed thes headphones are. It is almost perplexing how they can use cheap plastic materials yet make the headphone heavy enough that they won't stay in your ears. If you are looking at a photo of these, you are probable comparing them to a pair of Dre's. Don't do that. That is what I did and in reality they are about twice the size. In real world comparisons, I would say that the drivers (headphone body) is about the size of a Rolo candy or the diamterer of a Hershey Kiss. Due to the larger size and a really poor placement of the line plugs into the body, the cords pull them on an angle from your ear causing them to constantly fall out or just become uncomfortable.
I should return these but I think I will keep them as a reminder of why not to impulse buy cheap junk.
I like that the control buttons work with Android, not just iphone like with many earphones. The wires are thick and heavy, which prevents tangling, but bounce around uncomfortably when running. 3 sizes of earbuds should fit most people and are comfortable for me.
VS Dre Tours: These fit me better and thus created a better seal which meant more bass.
VS Dre Tours 2.0: Same as with the Original Dre Tours
VS URBeats: The URBEATS have more bass, but its not clear and its really muddy. Plus these have clearer highs and mids making the overall sound quality a lot better. Certain rock acoustic songs sounded downright laughable with the amount of bass there was and the way it overpowered any of the other notes. Plus, every time I plugged these into my computer, I would get periodically static electric shocks since the earbuds housing / casings are made from metal.
VS Klipsch S4i: These are better in almost every regard. These Souls have better sound, better fit, a better remote (since it works with my phone) and feel way more durable.
VS UE700: While the UE700 are more balanced, they don't have the same signature that I like to hear since most of todays music is mastered with compression and bass in mind.
