A Blast from the Good old Beginnings of Computers at Home Basic and do it yourself because there is nothing else yet :)

It is a book i remember from back in the day getting from the library more times than i can count. and if you love Sherlock Holmes Stories it is a must have. it is done in that style. although it is not a In Depth Programming book nor a Sherlock Holmes Stories Collection It is a Nice Blend of the two concepts. Enough to make you want more of Both Kinds of Books.

This book would be of interest to both collectors of Sherlock
Holmes pastiches and of early computer programming books,
because it actually combines a Sherlock Holmes mystery with
learning the old BASIC language (circa 1982). This kind of
book, like the old IBM mainframe manuals and other books about "old" computer languages, like ADA, are becoming fun to read again, or collect. Actually a helpful little book on how to read and write BASIC computer code combined with a Sherlock Holmes
pastiche written by the authors, "illustrated" with data charts
and some reprints of old Sherlock Holmes pulp magazine pictures
and several small woodcuts.
