Experimentalists and engineers will get far more from R W Boyd's great text 'Nonlinear Optics', as Boyd's book has far more of a physical feel about it, and is much more up to date, with useful practical data.
There is a need for another book to be written on experimental and device engineering aspects of this subject......................
