I spent the extra $$$ on this because it seemed to be the only solderless breadboard wire kit on amazon I could find that used IEC color codes for the wire sizes, which is important when building a clean board; when the wire follows standard color codes, it's easy to know which wire will fit precisely between two board positions. If I need to connect points that are: 3 positions apart? orange wire. 2 positions apart? red. etc. Makes assembly quick and decreases "off-by-one" mistakes. Good for professional clean work.
The case seems fine: the hinge is a true rotating hinge, not a "bending plastic" hinge that is subject to fatigue over time. These rotating hinges look like they'll last just fine. The wire is definitely stiff and NOT "noodley" which is good; some wire kits have thinner gauge wire that bend too easily when sticking them into stiff prototyping boards.
Pics included show: (1) the entire kit, (2) color coded wire uses resistor color code for breadboard unit sizes, (3) closeup of box's non-fatigue rotating hinge, (4) closeup of one of the two lid latches; use thumb/forefinger on each hand to twist open both latches at same time.
For me, worth the bit of extra cost for the stiff, color coded wire.
