First, I took a risk by purchasing this because it's a recommendation of a friend who also has sensitive skin. She said it didn't irritate her face at all and purchased it because Bunny, a Youtube celebrity, uses it. I thought it was really a risk considering that the packaging is in full Korean. So I had to rely on her instructions and the internet to learn how to properly apply it. Here's how I did mine:
1. Cleanse face using daily cleanser. I use a hydrating cleanser.
2. Perform WEEKLY exfoliation.
3. Mask, preferably once a week. I was advised by my dermatologist to use masks once a week considering my skin type. This mask:
- Scoop a small amount using the provided scooper. Approximately, I used 1 tsp to completely cover my neck. And then 2 tsp for my full face.
- Apply quickly! It carbonates so fast that, if you start on your neck, by the time you get to your face the neck-part starts forming into bubbles already.
4. Wait and let it sit and do its thing for 5 minutes, then wipe with a warm wash cloth.
5. Rinse excess mask with warm water, gently scrubbing in circular motion until the mask is gone.
6. Perform usual skincare routine, ie., moisturizer.
I am a dude, ok. But wow, oh wow. My skin felt like a baby's skin after I rinsed my face! I never felt this good even with my other, more expensive masks. Not even the Rx masks from my dermatologist! This one is a supreme mask and I will stand by this product because I have never been so amazed. The black spots especially on my nose, those icky blackheads, GONE! I am actually excited to see how my face will look like if I regularly use this on a weekly basis.
Now, I will say that there are times I wanted to reach in to my face and scratch because the bubbles are tingling/tickling my face. IT IS NOT IRRITATING, and NOT BURNING. Just tingling because bubbles are forming, and popping/moving. You know, like someone is running feather toys on your face -- that kind of feeling. But it only happens once in a while and doesn't go on for the entire time. So you can still definitely relax, lie down for 5 minutes with eyes closed, with this on.
This mask is a solid five stars. Two thumbs up! If only I have ten thumbs, I would give it ten thumbs up! I would definitely buy this again when I run out of mask. Lastly, it arrived on time; two days through Prime.
(PS: If you feel that my review has helped you, and influenced your decision in buying (or not buying) this product,[...]. Thank you.)
This stuff works miracles on my black heads, and my skin feels awesome. I will say that I definitely feel like I need to moisturize afterwards but you should anyway. Sometimes I uses a moisturizer sheet mask after and with the two combined my face feels amazing.
Also, it’s fun!
At first I had some breakouts, and I have read that that's normal because it draws out the impurities in your skin.
Now, my skin feels and looks great.
-after about 5 minutes, rub the foam on your face again and wait around 2-3 minutes
-after scooping about a chestnut size, just use your fingers (I use my 2nd and 3rd fingers of one hand) to quickly apply it on my face.
-----I tried to use the plastic scoop to apply the product, but it took too long and it started bubbling before I could finish
