I only occasionally read this magazine and each time I do I remember why it is only occasional. The two top design magazines, for me, that are not to the trade are Dwell and World of Interiors, followed by Architectural Digest. Those contain many examples of professional design work, both interior design and architecture. The additional articles are usually 'over the top' and so amusing and/or intriguing. Elle Decor just doesn't quite cut it past the glossy cover. But it beats House Beautiful!
