Ellen the Harpist is a really fun and enjoyable read. I loved going on the journey with Ellen as she navigated love and life and really was able to grow from her experiences. This book had me laughing, it had me doing my OMG face, and it had me sympathizing AND rooting for Ellen the whole way through. Hopefully the author will continue with Ellen in another book (hint hint) because I would love to see more of her in the future! -Pretty Little Book Reviews

As an older person, I thought I might not be interested in the problems, personal choices, weaknesses and strengths of a young woman, her friends, family members and acquaintances, but I was wrong. With vivid detail, humor and pathos, the author drew me in with her insights on human behavior. I especially appreciated the intergenerational friendship between Ellen and a woman in her building and for Ellen to be open to her guidance.
If there is a sequel to Ellen’s journey so far, I will surely read it!
