About Ellie Peterson
Ellie Peterson is a picture book author, illustrator, and science teacher living in the Seattle area. She believes in books that question our assumptions and she actively encourages children to question HOW they know what they know. When she isn't in the lab, she enjoys experimenting with art supplies in her home studio and visiting other local schools. She is the illustrator of BEA'S BEES by Katherine Pryor. She is the author/illustrator of the upcoming Joulia Copernicus Book Series published by Boyds Mill Kane Press. The first book, IT'S A ROUND, ROUND WORLD! is available now and THE REASON FOR THE SEASONS is available February 11th.
