Ordered these to attempt my first birthday chalkboard. The board is great. I still have some things left to fill in, and my artistry is by no means great. If you trace lightly with a pencil first, you can lightly erase mistakes without damaging the board.

My boards arrived in great condition. There was no bending of the edges as some other reviews had stated. I can see how it could happen, though, as the boards were in a tight box, then packed inside another box. If the original box gets damaged or dented in any way before it is put in the amazon box to be shipped, then there's no leeway and the boards get bent, also.

This was my first time using mounting boards for anything. I didn't know what I was doing and ordered the 11x14 to mount 11x14 photos. I have since learned that it's easier to get a larger size, mount the photo and cut around it (which would make any edge dents to the mounting board in transport unimportant).

The boards looked great and made my photos look even better! I also used these with some 8x10 photos centered on the mounting board and they also look great. The black is very striking with my B&Ws. I will definitely be hanging some of these mounted photos (I'm not a huge fan of frames and like the open look).

I use these foam boards for some of my product photography setups. They are very lightweight and portable, making it easy to quickly do a photo on a black background without having to setup seamless paper. One side does have the Elmer's sticker on it which is kind of annoying but I just use the other side.

I was so disappointed when I received these. I was trying to dry mount some photos to send to a customer. All of the corners were already bent from the packaging and shipping over. They kept fraying on the edges when I was trying to cut my photo down so it made the edges of my photo frayed. They did not hold up well

I put some 8.5 x 11" photos on these and have them up on my walls. I really like the look of it and I don't feel the need to use frames with them.

I would recommend getting the exact size that you need, because I bought some bigger ones in a store and was planning on cutting them in half for 12 x 18" photos and they did not cut good at all with anything I tried. I ended up having to use a table saw and it was still a mess, but better than razors, scissors, a hand saw, or anything else I tried.
