Top customer reviews
While the directions call for using a putty knife, something like a butter knife works well for filling in small gaps. I then clean up with a dampened paper-towel, which also reduces/eliminates the need to sand.
In the picture, I've filled a hole in moulding once, wet-wiped it, and let it dry. It still needs a 2nd filling and light sanding.
My only complaint is the container is not designed to reseal tightly and will likely dry out quickly after opening. If you're buying this size (smallish, but much larger than a tube), you probably have small repairs in mind, and won't be using the whole batch in one go. It would have been easy enough for Elmer's to provide a tight-sealing lid, and for that lack I dock one star.
A good choice for filling in small nicks/dents/cuts in wood before painting. Recommended.
