Elon Musk is soo great just look at how his hair transplant came in! This book is too conciliatory. I like the Steve Jobs book by Isaacson. That guy really handed it to him.

Musk certainly has had an interesting life. It's a great story, but not from the best writer. I hope Walter Issackson gets a chance to redo this mans life story.

Interesting story. A bit disjointed in terms of timeline. Story basically covers the creation of space X Tesla and bit on Solar City
Author sometimes switches back-and-forth between events and it is unclear as to the timing.
Decent but certainly not a page turner.

A portrait of a fascinating man with copious amounts of drive, vision and exceptional achievements. The book provides real insight into the forces which shaped him and continue to drive him, however I felt that the book ran out of steam towards the end, became even less objective and ended up feeling like a PR piece.

Interesting read on a somewhat enigmatic figure, but not all that well written or researched, and with obvious "pro-Musk" perspective. Not likely to be the definitive read.

Very interesting facts about Elon Musk. The writing is a bit "unorganized", jumping from place to place without a smooth transition. Also, too many names throwing around, sometimes using first, sometimes last, sometimes full name, so I can be lost at times.

Average read. Wading through references after you have read the chapter is pointless on a Kindle as you lose the thread or what it referred to.

The book needs some serious editing.
If you plan to participate in some trivia game about Elon Musk -- this might be the book for you. It is detailed to the point where it sometimes reads like the author was drafting some legal document, rather then writing a book. You can skip a few pages every now and then and not even notice.
For example at one point it goes into three+ page description of some character's date with Elon, precisely pointing out the moment when the woman allowed Elon to put his arm on her knee (yes, really) only for that character to be forgotten completely. Or how it goes into describing the details of Elon's settlement with his first wife.
If you look past that though, the book does tell an interesting story of Tesla and SpaceX. I would suggest getting an audio version of the book and listening to it while doing something else. About 50% of your attention is all this book needs.
