Here's a clip I grabbed this weekend when I saw two of my kids reading it together. As you can see, the 2-year old has learned her cue: "Rockets!" And my 11-year old was telling me yesterday that she wants to invent things . . . I don't think that aspiration came out of the blue.
Nothing, absolutely nothing. The book is about Elon Musk, it's about entrepreneurship, it's about perseverance, but it's not about rockets. There are some rocket drawings with no explanation about them, and the kids will like the parts where rockets explode, but the authors clearly had no knowledge/interest in teaching kids about space and rockets.
The title is just flat-out false advertising. If the above still sounds good, it's maybe still okay for you, but I'm not joking that after reading the book my 7 year old says to me "But I didn't learn anything about rockets!"
