Top Customer Reviews
The touch screen is slow or sometimes unresponsive
Every time I would set the time/clock, it would reset everytime I turned the device on and off
The device seems very flimsy, lightweight. Like it would snap in your hands if you even used for your mind.
Video and Picture Camera isn't that bad, along with all the different modes to it, but again, some what slow and unresponsive at times
I know alot of people reviewed about their headphones not working... mine were perfectly fine, I never had their problem.
Oh, I know the title of this product says 1.8 in screen, its bigger, its whatever the others ones say~ 3.2 or whatever it is, just fyi
Get it if:
Its for you 7 year old kid
Or you just wanna try it out and don't mind putting $70 down.
Don't get it if:
This is your second mp3 player and you want something better.
"You get what you pay for~"
Unsatisfied :/ I just expected better quality
The Ematic E4 is a great MP3 player for the price. For $30-50 you can have a fairly large 8GB touch screen MP3 player. It plays videos, music, radio, has a few extras (calendar, calculator, voice recorder, etc), camera (DV and Still) and is small enough to fit into your pocket. I have had mine and have really enjoyed it. The quality of the screen is awesome and is easy to touch with either included stylus or finger nail. The five megapixal camera and video recorder is amazing for such a small MP3 player. The picture quality is fairly good. No its not HD but I didn't buy it only for a camera. There is also a place for e-books (mostly text) which you can read on here. I have found a really good place to convert different docs into text files so it seems to work. There is also expandable memory incase you use up a ton of your space. I hear some people say the radio didn't work. I think it works fine. I hook it up to my big speakers which gives it a stronger antenna and I haven't had any problems. You can also record songs of the radio with pretty good quality.
The box comes with (or at least mine did); MP3 player, stylus, strap, headphones, software CD.
-Packed with Features
-Works with wide variaty of files (not iTunes)
-Has a radio (iPods didn't for a little while)
-Camera and DV
-Charges with computer of I have been using a universal USB charger with it as well
-Strap is extremly hard to hook up
-No continually updated software
-No place for the stylus (but works without stylus)
-Doesn't work with iTunes (but I didn't expect it to)
In short if you are looking for a cheap, easy to use but loaded with features the Ematic E4 is a perfect choice. No it isn't an iPod (I have one as well and like it) but I bought this for out and about (travel, parks, hiking, etc) so that I didn't loose and damage my iPod. I think however, the Ematic E4 is great small, versatile, MP3 player.
