I got this mug for my husband when I saw it in my son's kitchen. He tried it on my son's coffee, which is called Great Coffee. The coffee taste was delicious and amazing. When you set it up, it kept the coffee hot for about an hour. The gold color is so beautiful.

    This is the most excellent Coffee mug. Definitely get the larger one. I have multiple charging stations so after about 30 minutes if I am not done I can search one out to recharge. Sometimes it gets fooled if the liquid in the cup is too cold. It wont resurrect a really cold cup of coffee. But it will bring a warm one back in line over about 130 degrees. I really prefer the black one because the white one is a bit difficult to clean, UNLESS, you use a magic sponge, those work great for tuning up a white one. Also their customer service is really good. I had a problem with my charging base and they replaced it quickly.

    In the beginning, you will receive your mug in beautiful packaging and it will work as you wish.

    The empty mug weight is 414g which is a little heavy but the handle is very comfortable. The first setup use very easy just charge your mug and download the app to set your preferred temperature.

    Once you set the temperature you need 10+ Min on average to reach your preferred temperature, the mug works on 110/220v if you need to travel. Please take a couple of minutes to read the user manual to avoid any short circuit while you charge the mug.

    PROS:
    1- Great build quality, just don't use a metal spoon to avoid scratches.
    2- The average time depending on the temperature is 70 Min which is doing what is supposed to be done, and the actual temperature of the drink is similar to what is displayed on the app.
    3- Smooth app to control and easy to connect, and the mug will automatically off if the mug is empty.

    CONS:
    1- The charging time is very long more than two hours to get fully charged, this is very annoying!!
    2- The battery percentage decreases rapidly after a full charge until it reaches 3%, where it remains for a long time. I believe a software update is needed.
    3- I would like to see a 70 C degree nether than 62.5 to drink a black tea.

    This product is quite impressive. While on the charger it will keep your beverage HOT all day. Off of the charger it keeps it HOT for 1 hr. While on the charger, it will heat up your beverage to HOT rather quickly. While off of the charger it takes way too long to do so. The product itself is amazing and I really recommend it for everyone who takes their time drinking and enjoying tea or coffee. I got this for my wife for Christmas because she constantly has to microwave her coffee because we have 5 children … but mainly because the 19 month old is demanding lol. I just regret getting a 10oz. I didn’t realize how tiny 10oz is because I assumed most mugs are 8oz. Wrong! lol. I am exchanging this for the 14oz. With the 10oz, once you put the coffee there’s hardly room for creamer and sugar (when it comes to a real coffee drinker). I gave it 5 stars because the product works excellently. The app is very impressive and fun (to me). I love to watch on the app how the T° of the coffee goes down immediately after pouring in creamer. I love it.
    You can customize the color code of the light on the mug and name the mug in the app. You can also set the T° you want your beverage to be going forward (set it and forget it). It’s awesome. I watched a YouTube video about the mug and the review said they don’t think it’s worth the $ although the product worked really well. That’s kind of an oxymoron. I think you’re getting what you pay for and in a good way. Your beverage literally stays HOT or (if you want) warm until the very last drop. I don’t often drink coffee or even tea, but when I do it’s Dos Equis lol jk… when’s I do I can’t stand where the last few sips are cold. I want to get one for myself except I hardly drink tea or coffee, just to show you how great the product is. I think the 10oz is too tiny. 10oz might not be as necessary to be in the size of a tech mug since it’s not much to begin with and can be finished rather quickly (although my wife still appreciates it in her lifestyle). For the real tea and coffee drinkers out there I highly recommend this product, but the largest versions.

    The original review was accurate, but now that I've had the mug for 6 months (Originally 3 star), I have to reduce its rating... The mug itself is great, works well, and does what it says. It keeps my drinks at the temperature I set it to. The reason I'm reducing the rating here for 2 reasons.

    1) Trying to reach an actual person or something more intelligent than an automated help desk, is seeming to be nearly impossible.
    - To expand on this: I have been unable to find any contact information to report any issues I do have with the mug or software (I have no issues with the mug so far, but the software annoys me to no end).

    2) The software for the mug is so far below par, that they might as well just have a digital display on the side to show the temp and just set it that way.
    - Let me expand on this:
    a) If you don't keep your mug paired, ie: carry it with you 100% of the time, anytime it isn't paired, it forgets its pairing, and you have to go through the pairing procedure again to reconnect it. My car is a 2014, and the BlueTooth in it remembers my phone when I start it up, but this mug cannot.
    b) There's no way to override the heating to ON, if the sensor doesn't trigger to say the mug isn't empty, it won't turn on, even in the software Bluetooth connection. Through some digging, it states that it determines if it's empty by the significant difference in temperature: The mug is cold, pour warm to hot fluid in it, and it detects the temp change and determines it's not empty. I understand this is probably a safety feature to prevent the mug from burning out, but there should be some way to turn it on when you put room temp liquid into a room temp mug. (I usually make a batch of tea, and if I don't finish it all in a day, I use it the next day, I shouldn't have to microwave the first cup just to get it hot enough for the mug to realize it's full.)

    So in summary:
    -The mug is absolutely great, so far it's held up fine, with no chips/scratches. Works great to keep temp set.
    -Software needs a LOT of work. The biggest issue is the Bluetooth connection/protocol. I shouldn't have to re-pair it every day just to connect to the mug to change it from Tea to coffee, or some other temp for a different drink.
    -Better contact forms, for when you can't resolve the problem via automated help.

    I'm hoping that by rating this at only 1 star, maybe I'll get a way to contact the company, or at least they'll read this review and take the issues under advisement. Maybe even make a suggestions/complaints form to get these issues noticed so they know what to work on. Until I see a way to contact a live person, even if it's just email, or something simple, I cannot rate this higher than a 1. IF I were having a real issue with this mug (like it not working) I'd be out the money it cost me to buy it.

    Pros:
    Heats relatively fast
    Keeps Temp very well.

    Con's:
    It's for Right Handers, if you're left-handed, (or hold the mug in your left hand), the LED is on the back side where you can't see it (less of a problem while you're actually holding it), but if you set it down for grabbing with your left hand you can't see the LED.

    The software is a little glitchy. I tried setting it to Celsius for a little bit, then when I tried to switch it back to Fahrenheit, it wouldn't switch, I had to reset the app completely to default to get it back to Fahrenheit.

    Couldn't find a contact form for issues (like the above software glitch), or suggestions.
