As a trainer in EFT we only have a limited amount of time to discuss complex areas concepts such as developmental trauma, Window of Tolerance, Polyvagal Theory, adverse childhood experiences, and PTSD so I am grateful that this book lays it out thoroughly and simply. The body does play a huge role in our ability to resolve trauma, trauma treatment without the somatic piece is incomplete , as Danyhuck says. The book then finishes up with how to take of oneself in this business. Really appreciate the writing and layout of the book too

She writes in a very accessible way, combining deep personal experience and wisdom in working with traumatized people and in teaching what she has learned to others, her readers.
