I used it once, the sides got too hot, they are so thin the edge could cut you. This is light years away from real All Clad. Worst stainless steel skillet EVER.
I suggest you buy this one instead, extremely well made and real tri-ply.
Great width and depth. Versatile cookware useful for both cooking sauce and general sauté. Visually pleasant. Comes with a nice lid and good handles. Reasonable price compared to other stainless steel pans.
Like all stainless steel cookware, sticks and stains very easily. A significant amount of oil (compares to non-stick) is needed for frying meat or vegetables. (I sort of forgot about this so the pan got stained right on the first use.)
Soaking in warm water for 15 min will remove sticks and burns (not grease stains though)
Basically a trade off-more cleaning time but less worries about toxic chemicals from Teflon. Worth it for the peace of mind.

Very impressed with the how heavy duty the handles look. Great as a "small frier".Published 1 month ago by ANGELICA CHANG

I wish two things, that it wasn't made in china, and that it was a little thicker gauge metal.Published 4 months ago by john weiss

We added this 5 Qt pan to our existing set (that only provided us with a 3qt)
We have not had any problems at all and we use it numerous time per month.
