However, I really-really-REALLY wish this was available in print. For me, references like this are easiest to use when I can flip through the (paper) pages, and not shift back & forth from (left brain) digital/screen mode to (right brain) creative, tactile, writing mode.
Don't let that small criticism deter you from owning (and using) this book. And be sure to check Ms. Ackerman's other thesauruses that ARE in printed (paper) format, as well as in Kindle.
If you're writing ANYthing, you probably need these books.
Im writing a book about a ski fi fantasy novel series.
I at times struggle with different ways to say things. I hate being repetitive.
This book not only helped me with that. but made me THINK about peoples emotions
what they do their actions. its sometimes all in the action!
GREAT book and looking to purchase the series!

A reader wants to be "in" your story.
They want to feel what your characters feel.
If you can accomplish that task, they will come
back looking for more of your books.
Emotion Amplifiers, is a companion/additional book to, Emotion
Thesaurus, by the same authors, and both loaded with excellent
information and advice.
I like it when readers tell me, I became so involved with your

Emotion has that kind of power.
Use it to your advantage.
This book will help you do just that.
“Emotion Amplifiers” takes the description of emotional moments to a whole new level. With a wide range of physical symptoms, descriptors, and more, you’ll never find yourself hunting for a way to show the characters emotional state. Instead of telling the reader how the character feels, they’ll be reading the effects that emotional state is producing, and build a stronger relationship with the character in the process...
Sure, some of these things are obvious, but some of them aren't so much. More importantly, it's a collection that is easy to reach to if you have brain fog. I have fibromyalgia and that comes with the territory. So, this is wonderful when my brain is reaching for that one thing that has to do with boredom (it may be common sense, it may not).
Even when my brain is cooperating, it's nice to have a list of things that keep you from drawing from your own bank over and over again. Sometimes you just need a shake up.
