This installment in the series kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I really enjoyed seeing Love interact more with her sister Empathy, as I felt that this had not really been included as much in the previous installment of the series. I also really enjoyed hearing about Empathy's struggles with her own powers. She was meant to be able to shapeshift into other things and be other people, but by doing this she was losing herself. I felt as if I could relate to this a bit more than usual, as I sometimes feel as if I spend more time worrying about others than worrying about myself.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a diverse and inclusive action-adventure sci-fi story with a cast of strong characters.
I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.
Anyway, I am loving this series of books, and while you do have to read them in sequential order for them to make sense, it's no hardship to have to read them all! I'll certainly be looking forward to finding out what happens to them next!
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions
I was gifted a copy of this book and have voluntarily and happily reviewed it. Opinions expressed above are mine and not influenced by gifting of the book.
I was provided this book as an ARC by the author; however, the review is my honest opinion.
