The Empire Halo Too is the best performing paintball loader for the money. With a cost that is less than half the price of some top paintball loaders, the outstanding performance of this paintball loader will make this an easy choice for most players. The ultra-quiet belt drive will force-feed 20+ balls-per-second, allowing your marker to throw plenty of paint at your opponent. The Freeway™ Anti-Jam keeps the paintball loader from jamming and breaking paintballs, so you'll still be shooting while others are busy scraping paint. The new, matte black polycarbonate shell can withstand any hit and can easily fit 180 paintballs. The onboard computer directs the sound-activated feeding and allows you to program the Motor Speed, Microphone Sensitivity and Feed Stack monitoring. But of course, with a name like Halo, you knew you'd be getting the ultimate in paintball loader technology. Put this loader on your marker and Empire will make a believer out of you Too.

Speed - The Halo Too can feed upwards of 20 balls per second which is more than enough for most electronic markers that general enthusiasts will use. It handled Ramp PSP from my Fenix with ease on speed setting 4 out of 6, and it could take even more if necessary.
Jam resistant - After several hours of running, bumping, and spraying over 1,000 balls through my marker, the Halo Too didn't jam once or dry fire a single shot.
Quiet? - My marker is quite loud to begin with, so I couldn't hear the motor over my shots, but I would assume it is quiet.
Ruggedly Built - The plastic shell on this thing is very durable, and it took a beating during several rounds of high speed woodsball without showing any signs of wear and tear. The most I had to do was wipe the mud and paint off, and it kept on ticking.
Sound Activated - I had zero issues with the sound activation function on this hopper even though I was skeptical about it at first. More expensive rotor hoppers use eyes, but this one works fine with the sound sensitivity set at level 3 of 6. Turning on the feed stack sensor also helped to keep it from feeding balls when the hopper got knocked around a bit on the field.
Disassembly is tricky - The shell is very rigid, which makes taking the Halo Too apart a bit of a chore. Since paintballs can leave residue inside the hopper, it is essential to keep the internals clean to prevent jams and undue wear on motor parts. Putting the circuit board back in the shell can be frustrating.
Interface Panel - The on/off/programming button on the back of the hopper is just a little too basic for conveniently adjusting the hopper's settings. The instruction manual will help somewhat, but they aren't very intuitive. For example, the directions say to hold the button down once the green LED begins flashing, but I learned that you have to hold it down about 1.5 seconds after the unit powers on which sometimes occurs before the light flashes. I learned to deal with the oversimplified interface, but an LCD display will be a must for my next hopper if it requires this much programming.
Stiff Lid - The lid is a little bit tricky to open in the heat of battle, but an after market speed loader would solve that problem.
Capacity - The hopper only holds around 180 balls at a time, but my pods only hold 140, so this isn't really an issue either.
Despite those few shortcomings, the Halo Too outperformed my expectations, and I know I will get plenty of use out of this hopper before I need to start looking for something more advanced. I would definitely buy this feeder again!
This loader is awesome. If you want a good loader, capable of keeping up with high rates of fire, at a good price. Adjustable speed, sound activated, quick, it's just a good quality loader. I have broken a ball or two in this loader. I usually shoot marb at my local field, it's no evil, but it's got a fairly brittle shell compared to cheaper paints. The magna clutch drive system would be an awesome upgrade, if I wasn't planning on getting another loader soon. It changes the drive system, so the drive will slip under pressure, to reduce the tension on the ball. Worth it. The size signature on this isn't the best, and I've gotten hit on it more than I'd like to admit. Another con, would be the INSANE take-down. 6 screws. A nut falls out. Wires everywhere. It's a mess. Breaking a ball in this puppy SUCKS, and paint in the barrel, on the balls, and on the eyes means chopped balls and inaccurate shots. The battery harness wires need care to not be broken. So there are cons. A few of them. But for an electronic hopper that can keep up with most guns on the market, you can't beat it. I recommend it, for a lower cost loader.
Despite being sound activated is very reliable, no paint breakage even with whitebox paint or summer stored paint, awesome investment and thinking on buying another one. I mean, sure there are loaders or rotors much higher in cost, but this, it sure is in the fight for the best loader.
