I’m Rosa, a contemporary romance author based in the UK.

I love crafting stories about strong, sassy heroines who aren’t afraid to speak their minds. These fierce ladies are paired with alpha heroes who are as rugged as they are emotionally guarded.

I have a weakness for specific tropes, such as billionaire alphas with egos the size of their bank accounts, age gap romances that show love defies age, workplace romances that give “office politics” a whole new meaning, enemies-to-lovers stories that make you want to lock the characters in a room until they sort out their feelings, and grumpy-meets-sunshine matchups proving that even the most brooding of men can melt with the right woman by their side.

When I’m not lost in my writing world, you can find me roaming the countryside with my own Happily-Ever-After guy (who refuses to read my books, likely worried he’ll see himself in them, or even worse, not see himself at all) looking for a great hike with a pub at the end.

The book began promisingly and felt refreshing. For a while, it was unclear which direction the plot would take—whether it would veer towards a fake PR romantic comedy or delve into the struggles with health issues. Ultimately, it attempted both, but the execution fell short.

I wouldn't go as far as to call it terrible, as I did manage to finish it. There were certainly good moments and hilarious situations. However, the issue lay in its lack of balance. The times where the heroine was humiliated by the hero were too many. By the end, I found myself rooting for her to find a decent guy and fulfill her promise of moving on from the hero. As the result, the book felt overly drawn-out and left a somewhat bitter aftertaste. It left me with feeling hat billionaire jerks dominate the world, mistreat women, yet are consistently forgiven and pursued.
