The Empowered Child: How to Help Your Child Cope, Communicate, and Conquer Bullying Kindle Edition
About the Author
Danielle has worked as a clinician in the field for over 20 years with children and adolescents in various environments including day treatment programs, residential facilities, and outpatient services. She has supervised a therapeutic one-on-one behavioral program, facilitated therapy groups and conducted clinical authorizations for an insurance provider. Danielle has additionally conducted group and individual therapy with adults.
In 2014 as Danielle became concerned by an increase in patients suffering from bullying, she conducted research which concluded that while there are many bullying prevention programs, there are few programs in Los Angeles that address the crisis point of bullying to help children and adolescents heal. In response, Danielle developed The Empowerment Space Bullying Therapy Program to ensure that there is crucial support available to empower children and their parents with skills to address bullying and create stronger, more positive support systems for children.
To further increase bullying awareness and action, Danielle provides numerous presentations to community organizations and schools as well as medical, health and wellness professionals. Danielle is featured on Kids In The House.com and has made guest appearances on podcasts such as The Family Couch, WiseInside, and We Heart Therapy. Danielle routinely presents bully awareness education to Pepperdine University graduate students and to faculty at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, among other organizations.
Danielle treats bully victims in the greater Los Angeles area, and is available for consultations and speaking engagements nationwide. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

I felt that "triggering" should have been defined or explained in a case given, or at least included in the glossary of terms at the back. This book might have been better edited, to clean up some typos, conflicting tenses, and confusing double negatives; but overall I really appreciate having gotten this information.
Danielle has reframed bullying so we can ALL stand in our power, be heard, feel value, feel safe, and know we matter. The book offers simple and effective strategies to empower our children (and ourselves) when we experience ANY form of bullying. This book will help you circle back to love and support your child in any challenging circumstance. I can't say enough about this book! It is a gift to the world. A chance for us to communicate and connect in love!
