To install, just push metal stake into soft earth (softened with water if need be). Metal ground stakes cannot be broken. The solar lights then effortlessly recharge during the day and come on at dusk automatically. Even works in cloudy weather. Rechargeable solar AA batteries are included for all 6 lights and are already installed. Just switch each light "On" prior to installation and place the lights in the ground outside. Each solar light produces the perfect amount of light to illuminate a 4 foot by 4 foot square area. These solar lights feature a real glass lens that casts a beautiful 360 degree light pattern in a beautiful star shape design. Please allow your solar lights to charge 10-12 days before maximum battery capacity will be reached. These lights are 16 inches tall from tip to tip. They are 4.5 inches wide at the widest point. These lights will add extra beauty and enchantment to any home or garden!

I LOVE THESE! I had an issue with one and worked with it and changed the battery and they all are doing fine! I LOVE THEM!
