This book is about Chrissy, a woman who no longer believes in happily ever after. You see, she had a no strings affair 5 yrs ago with a gifted guitarist while she was on her way to becoming a well-known violinist. She never thought she would end up pregnant. No idea she'd be blown off by her child's father when she emailed him that she was pregnant. No idea that her child would be born deaf. No idea that 5 yrs later her daughter would write a letter to Santa asking for her mother to be happy again. No idea that she and her daughter would run in to Mason in another town at a concert = purely by accident!
Mason is floored when he sees Chrissy again and finds out he has a daughter.
Time for Chrissy to find her bliss again!
This is another one of Beth Ciotta's books that just make you smile and say, "Ahhhh!" at the end.
Beth Ciotto has penned a sweet Christmas novella. Christmas Joy Mooney is a gifted violinist, but when her baby is born deaf, she quits playing and avoids music in all forms.
During a birthday/Christmas getaway with her best friends and daughter, Chrissy runs into the father of her little girl. "Romeo" is shocked to see Chrissy, but never questions the
paternity of Mel. When he realizes he fathered a little girl, he is determined to become a part of Chrissy and her daughter's lives.
I love Beth's stories and because it's an Impossible Dream book, you will find repeat characters (which I absolutely love). I prefer novels to novellas because I'm always so sorry
when the story ends, but Enchanting Christmas is a delightful read.
Christmas Mooney has lived the last five years for her daughter. She has given up her passion - music - due to Melody's lack of hearing. When ImpossibleDream.com sends her to Denver with the other Inseparables, she is wary but hopeful. Fate brings Mason Rivers to his daughter's feet while Mel is admiring the Christmas tree in the square, and Chrissy cannot believe that the one person she wanted to avoid showed up. Now that Mason knows about Melody, he is completely committed to being the father she deserves.
If you're looking for a Christmas miracle, this book is for you.
