Amerie was a great heroine. Sassy, held her ground and was about her paper!!! I loved that Ms. Warren decided to write about choreographers. That's so dope.
As for the love scenes I lowkey cringed that they were condomless😂😂😂 especially since Knox was a dude that chased anything in a skirt. But I mean if amerie trusted him like that, who am I to question it. I will say while the book had some cute love scenes, I wanted steamier, longer ones with more detail. But the characters had great chemistry regardless and as much romance as I read, it was nice reading a romance where the characters talk like I do.
Great job, ms.Warren but now I need Zalayah's story!!!
Really enjoy this book and the cast of characters. Author Alexandra books has become a must read for me. I like her style of writing and story lines. Really good series.
Amerie is making this book hard for me to read/like. She is beyond annoying. I totally understand why she is hurt and mad at Knox, but to carry that on for YEARS and act like it just happened yesterday during every interaction is frustrating for me. I keep wondering, if you truly feel this way and don't want to move on from the hurt or make him explain himself why are you voluntarily putting yourself in situations to be in close proximity. It's mind boggling to me.
I've read all of Alexander Warren's books and find them to be really interesting, with good plots/characters, and well written, but this is the first book of hers that I am struggling to get through.
