How can you not like Encyclopedia Brown? The stories are great, timeless and it makes my kids think instead of spoonfeeding them entertainment like video games, etc.

A fitting conclusion to the Encyclopedia Brown series, as author Donald J. Sobol passed away today at the age of 87. How did Donald J. Sobol die? Turn to page 72 to find out.

I read EB books when I was a child, and ordered some for the nostalgia. Just as much fun as I remember.

Donald J Sobol is an amazing children's aurhor. I for one hopes he keeps writing Encylopedia Brown books for as long as he is able. Worth your money.

I love attempting to find out what the solution is except for when I go to check if I was right, I lose my place. The bookmark does not help at all. Great book just better to get in paperback.

I would recommend this book to Third graders, because of the easy context.
I gave it 4 stars because the one suspect is always accused and always admits it, with out a second to spare.
