About the author

Freelance writer Carl Waldman has published books on wide-ranging historical subjects, from Native Americans to explorers to European peoples to performance magic. A musician as well as a writer, he has also delved into the lives of Sinatra and Elvis. And he writes fiction. His first such endeavor were three books in a World War II adventure series under the pseudonym Gregory St. Germain. Past screenwriting projects include an episode in the 4th season of the TV series Miami Vice and a docudrama about Raleigh's Lost Colony for Festival Park in North Carolina.
