Hard to find now that no-one actually makes anything themselves. I am using these for receiving antennas, but I would not use them for transmitting at high power because the shallow depth of the ribbing is inadequate for high end voltages present on the ends of a transmitting antenna. Nice quality!

The antenna insulator are standard insulators like I have used for fifty years. They are about three (plus) inches long and would accept about a 14 gauge wire. I haven't used them yet. Antennas are usually constructed in the Fall. Why (?)

Nice plastic not as good as ceramic or glass but lighter which is a plus
Don't recommend these; they are made out of plastic--purchase the ceramic insulators instead. MFJ and DX Eng. and CheapHam has them.Read more
