In the book Kyle mentions we are broken so that we can be made whole. without Brokenness there's no humbleness and there's no necessity for Jesus we have to desire a necessity for Jesus in order for us to know he's the only one we can lean on. He talked about that we replace another word when we don't allow Jesus to handle our Brokenness and that word is pride. the minute Pride enters in, pride will tend in making us look at our own self as being the necessity, and not our Brokenness needing Jesus. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone who needs to remember with a daily reminder to place themselves in last place by daily placing God in His rightful 1st place.
